So I think I'm gonna use this journal thing...not as a real journal though...just as a personal progress tracker on certain projects I want to get done...

I really want to get a shot of a boy and a girl (teenagers...17-19 years) together, kind of in a "moment". Like, real close, almost hugging, hips/torsos slightly touching, and them just looking into each other's eyes. (Insert sappy "Awwww" here). The guy should have his outer hand on the girl's hip, the inner hand (closest to the camera) will have one thumb tucked into his pocket. The girl should look very timid with her hand position, maybe inner most hand kind of placed on the guy's chest, but just the fingertips touching very lightly, as if the image was caught in action, and her other hand should be near her lips, either biting a knuckle or touching her face, some sort of nervous fidgeting. You get the idea.

And I also want them in like, slouchy, grungy clothes.

Girl: White/Gray dress, black hoodie with holes for the thumbs cut out, fishnets, striped socks kind of bunched down, one a little more hiked up than the other. Not sure if I want her hood up or not yet. Also, lots of rings, and a locket/heart necklace. All preferably in gunmetal black. --No Shoes--

Guy: Ripped jeans (gray), white crew neck tee very thin fabric, and either a black and gray striped hoodie, or a distressed gray and black plaid button down, unbuttoned. No jewelry. Typical gray and white hanes socks (you know the ones). --No Shoes--

As far as hair/makeup for both, very natural, however it is preferable that the girl is a dark haired/brunette. Either with a scene hairstyle or something else funky. The guy's hair should be somewhat tousled, with it being about mid-neck length, I'd like the hair color to be dirty blonde.

Now, as far as posing, they're again, gonna be like previously mentioned, however, they'd both be barefoot. I'm not sure if I want the scene to be a beach or a park, but something outdoors. The girl's knee would be slightly bent inwards, with her toe pointed. The guy will be standing normally with his hips pivoted toward the camera, with him favoring his weight to one hip.

In the grass in the foreground will be two pairs of converse, one gray/black, one pink/white. The laces will be messed up, tongues funky. One lace off of each will be creating the shape of heart.

It's all an advertising photography piece for my portfolio. Not sure if I'll add text to it and really beef it up or leave it raw in the portfolio. Either way, it's a pretty chill idea for a shoot. If it's on the beach, I might really take it a couple steps further and do a bunch of shots. I need a clean beach in South Jersey to do it on though, with decent surf too, so it doesn't look totally flat in the background.

And I also need models who actually will wake up early enough to get the 5am light that I need. -_-
